Welcome to Emotion Stamp. By downloading or using the app, these terms will automatically apply to you – you should make sure therefore that you read them carefully before using the app.

1. Use of the App

Emotion Stamp is designed for personal emotional journaling and well-being tracking. You are not permitted to extract the source code of the app, translate the app into other languages, or make derivative versions. The app itself, and all the trade marks, copyright, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to it, still belong to Emotion Stamp.

2. Medical Disclaimer (Not Medical Advice)

Emotion Stamp is not a medical device or a substitute for professional medical or psychological treatment. All insights, patterns, and AI-generated "reflections" provided within the app are for observational and educational purposes only. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact your local emergency services or a dedicated crisis hotline immediately.

3. Reflections+ Subscriptions and Payments

Emotion Stamp offers a premium subscription tier called "Reflections+" which unlocks features such as Voice Journaling and unlimited AI reflections. All payments are securely processed through Apple's App Store via StoreKit.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Account Settings on the App Store after purchase.

4. User Generated Content

Because Emotion Stamp operates on a strict "Local-First" architecture, all the content you generate (text, voice, logs) resides on your physical device. We are not responsible for any data loss resulting from device damage, loss, or intentional app deletion. You are responsible for keeping your phone and access to the app secure.

5. Third-Party AI Services

The app uses xAI's Grok API to provide customized journaling reflections. By using the AI features, you acknowledge that anonymized and scrubbed prompt packets are transmitted to generate your reflection. We prohibit the use of the AI service to generate illegal, harmful, or abusive content. Emotion Stamp does not store these AI transmissions off-device.

6. Limitation of Liability

Emotion Stamp accepts no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, you experience as a result of relying wholly on this functionality of the app. We do not promise that it will always be updated so that it is relevant to you and/or works with the iOS version that you have installed on your device.

7. Updates to Terms

We may update our Terms and Conditions from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page.
